Greg & I have decided to combine our birthday months and celebrate together from mid-June until mid-July! We have a very specific birthday wish this year – please join us in supporting the Young MindsProject!
This project will be one of the most impactful projects our community has seen in years. The current mental health services in Central Illinois are so limited but the Young Minds Project is about to change that. If you aren’t familiar with the project, I ask you to please take 5 minutes to watch this short video.
Imagine a child, your child, reaching such a low that it requires a trip to the ER for care. Only to find all beds on the mental health floor are full. We have experienced this firsthand. It was the scariest, most helpless feeling a parent can feel. Our kids deserve to have access to care and care at the very moment it is needed, right here at home.
We believe in this project and we believe all of you will see the tremendous value of supporting this project. That is why we are setting a big goal - $5,000! This would surely be our best birthday’s ever if we can hit this mark!
